项目背景
伴随大众创业、万众创新的兴起，各类创客活动及创业项目井喷式增长。为了进一步提高中国创新创业教育的国际化水平，中国高校创新创业教育联盟联合清华大学启航基地艺术与科技创新基地，搭建国际性创客交流集训平台，举行艺术与科技创新人才培养系列活动。“创客教育工作坊”（Maker Education workshop）邀请“全球创客教父”、美国旧金山噪音桥（Noisebridge）创客空间联合创始人米奇·奥特曼前来中国，与国内不同创客社群、创客教育、美术与设计等方面的发烧级玩家、高手和专家进行深度交流，共同享受创意设计的无限可能，共同探寻创客创新的美好未来。

【适合对象】：本次工作坊主要针对希望在学校开设创新课程、STEAM学科融合教育的高校老师，对创客教育感兴趣的各类教师，以及国内不同创客社群、艺术与科技融合的发烧级玩家、高手、在校学生及其他人员

创客教育工作坊
创客教育工作坊计划为4天的活动，参加者既可以了解全球创客运动的由来，又可以通过讲座与动手实践，全方位地体验创客的蜕变史。学员们将以小组的形式共同学习、共同交流、共同研讨，学习和使用Arduino板制作简单的机器人或其它任何想做的产品。

【Maker Education Workshop】
With this enjoyable 4-day workshop, participants will get an overview of the worldwide Maker/Hacker Movement, and through lecture and hands-on participation,participants will gain knowledge and experience for teaching using hands-on, project-based learning.
Participants will learn about and make projects using Arduino boards that they will solder together, make a simple robot, and on the last days, break up into small groups to brainstorm a project each group wants to make, and make it. In the final hours each group will present what they made, if it works, what they learned, and what they would like to do differently knowing what they now know.

*Everyone makes a TV-B-Gone remote control with their Arduino

【要求与支持 Requirements & Support】
*本次工作坊会务组会提供教育教学所需的基础器材，含有u-do-it-duino试剂盒、3xaa电池组、红外控制机器人套件等。
*工作坊全程英语教学，有一定的翻译辅助，要求参加者有一定的英语听说能力；
*参与学员必须携带安装有Windows、MacOS或Linux系统的笔记本电脑，并从http://arduino.cc网址上下载并安装最新的Arduino 软件

全球创客大咖米奇·奥特曼（Mitch Altman）是一名来自旧金山的创客和发明家，以其发明的可在公共场所关闭电视的TV-B-Gone万能遥控器而知名。他曾经在硅谷联合创立了3ware创业公司，并在虚拟现实领域做了开创性的工作。他是作家与教师，经常在全球各地发表演讲及举办研讨会。无论走到哪里，米奇都会大力宣传创客空间以及开源硬件，并担任导师。他是旧金山创客空间Noise bridge的联合创始人，也是Cornfield Electronics的董事长和CEO。
Mitch Altman
Mitch Altman is a hacker and inventor, known for inventing TV-B-Gone, a keychain that turns off TVs in public places. He co-founded a successful Silicon Valley startup and did pioneering work in Virtual Reality. He is an author and teacher, and goes around the world giving talks and workshops. Mitch promotes hackerspaces, open source hardware, and mentors others wherever he goes. He is a co-founder of Noisebridge hackerspace in San Francisco, and is President and CEO of Cornfield Electronics.
